Conferencing and Collaboration Solutions
Mitel Unified Communications (UC) helps you respond to real world business challenges with unified solutions that drive productivity, improve performance and reduce costs. Unified Communications is the next evolution of communications and related technologies. UC combines multiple IT capabilities, enabling an efficient approach to communicating that changes how individuals, groups and organizations conduct business.
Mitel Unified Communicator (UC) Advanced is Mitel's award-winning unified communications client that integrates presence and availability, secure instant messaging, audio conferencing as well as web and video collaboration with the call control capabilities of your business communications system. UC Advanced also integrates with leading business productivity tools like Microsoft Exchange/Outlook and Office as well as IBM Lotus Notes.
Mitel Unified Communicator(UC) Express is a lightweight, server less unified communications client that provides productivity enhancements like click-to-dial, incoming caller ID pop-up, PC-based missed calls and speed calls list, and personal (Microsoft Outlook) directory integration.
Mitel Audio and Web Conferencing (AWC) is a simple, cost-effective and scalable audio and web conferencing solution. AWC supports up to 200 audio and web conferencing ports and is the perfect solution for connecting people together quickly and simply, regardless of their location.
Mitel UC360 Collaboration Point
Finally a first-of-its-kind, all-in-one multimedia collaboration unit, this alternative to traditional boardroom conferencing systems is deployable as multiple units in offices, small meeting rooms, etc. — and you don't even need a Mitel system to use it.
Mitel TeleCollaboration Solution
Mitel TeleCollaboration Solution (TCS) delivers a new experience in video conferencing by connecting remote participants in a real-time collaborative environment that can rival or exceed what is readily achieved through face-to-face communications.
Integration with Microsoft UC
Mitel Live Business Gateway enables enterprises to implement IP-based solutions through a smooth, intelligent evolution. Working in conjunction with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2, a SIP-based presence and collaboration server, the Mitel / Microsoft partnership delivers advanced applications for global communication and collaboration.
An end-user can establish calls from a Microsoft Office Communicator client, acting as a basic SIP softphone, to or from a Mitel desk phone, the public switched telephone network (PSTN), or any other network-connected PBX. The term PC-to-Phone encompasses calls between PC to PSTN, phone to PC, and PSTN to PC. This solution is typically used by mobile employees who do not have a desk phone, but instead want to use the embedded session initiation protocol (SIP) softphone capability within the Communicator 2007 R2 client.
Dual forking with remote call control (RCC) is targeted at users who want the combination of using their Communicator client with a Mitel desk phone when in the office or at home (using a Mitel Teleworker Solution phone) and using Communicator as a SIP softphone when travelling or away from their desk phone.
